This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

This is the day it came home, along with the wife's Ultra CDP. I have since dumped the Bushnell, it was junk, and went with a Vortex Strikefire. Still a budget optic, but way better.

Very nice rig, CharlieMike. I just had to put mine in storage in preparation for another overseas tour, but I'm hoping I can finagle my way into an SBR again... I am truly a convert to the 10" AR as long as it's used within its proper role(s).
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

The one in the picture is an 11.5" in model. I think I'd try to go 12.5" in the future. I've since replaced the sights with Daniel Defense fixed front and rear sights and I replaced the A2 flash hider with a PWS TTO compensator.

I was running and LMT/Crane upper on a Colt lower, 10.5" bbl. Fixed front, GG&G BUIS... I prefer flip-up fronts on the shorter ARs because I'm a big fan of the EOTech, and like to keep it mounted as low and as forward as possible, but I understand the desire for a fixed FS.

In any case, it sounds like you've got a really nice set up. My next "danger pay" check may find its way to Noveske (again) for one these: Noveske Rifleworks, LLC. Precision Battle Weapons.

It takes me 2 hours for a "good" clean. Drives me crazy.[/QUOTE]

Try using Gunzilla. I doubt I spend more than 15 minutes cleaning mine spray wipe down done. Cleaned, lubed and protected. The longer I use it the easier the cleaning gets as Gunzilla prevents the carbon from bonding to the metal. Take a look at Gunzilla :: The Worlds Best Gun Cleaner thread. Over 200 DC members have tried it and must like it as there is not one single negative comment about it in over eight pages of comments. I think that may be a DC forum record. I like it so much I buy it by the gallon. Use it on all my guns.

Correction. You NEED one. Assuming of course that you are an American Patriot. It is your birth right and duty to have one. At least that is my opinion. Guaranteed to be worth every cent you paid for it
