Check out my New Posts New Rifle - Troy M7 CQB 16" / Spike's Lower

Check her out! Just got it put together today and went to the range.

Very soft shooting, I managed to get 2" groups with some black hills my first time out. Only have iron sights currently, looking to get a red dot or acog soon (once I pay this sucker off!)

    Troy M7 CQB-SPC 16" Upper
    -TRX Lightweight Rail
    -Troy BUIS w/front tritium
    -1:7 - 5.56mm
-Bull barrel (I think that's what it's called - It doesn't have 203 cutouts, similar to noveske)
    -Troy modular grip
    -Troy Claymore Muzzle Break

    Spikes Lower
    -Magpul CTR stock
    -Spike's enhanced trigger guard
    -KNS anti rotate pins
-mil-spec trigger (It's pretty crisp too)
    -Ergo Grip
    -DD Swivel/QD Sling attach point

Looking to add a BCM gunfighter charging handle and a magpul MAD lever.

What do yall think of it so far?

That's an interesting rifle, I've yet to see one configured quite like that. Your arms are long enough for the forward handle to be useful to you? Looks practical and light to me.

That's an interesting hand guard where you can just add rails where you need them. Plus the full length one on top.

    Nice weapon!

Looks like you're off to a solid start. Shoot the piss out of it and let us know how it fares.

Is it nose-heavy? I would consider a heavier stock (or a lightweight barrel) if it is. Keep in mind that Noveske's N4 barrels don't have a 203 cut but have a different (improved) barrel contour to keep the weight identical to a normal government profile barrel.

And if you run out of ammo you can use it to spear. The muzzle looks like it could inflict some serious pain :).

The 13" trx extreme only weighs ~3oz more than double shield carbine length handguards.

I am surprised that you have not received the m4 chart and how you have a mid grade lower because it's not a colt. haha

Rock on with the spikes! I have one and love it! Long live the spider!

    That's a 16" barrel?..looks like a 20" ..The muzzle break looks like a shotgun standoff...Its a cool looking piece.

Which won't mean much if it's a long, fat barrel sitting under those lightweight rails. Two-and-a-half to three pounds out front can do a lot to unbalance an otherwise lightweight rifle, which is why I asked if it was/felt nose heavy.

Looks like a standard profile to me, can't see if it has an m203 cut, but it should be .750 in front of the GB and taper to ~.625 under. Same as pretty much any 16" carbine gas AR.
