I bought one from dick's a couple of weeks ago and finally got to go the range today. I tried it and belive it or not, it worked! I need to get use to it, but it worked. And with the blackhawk knoxx recoil stock. I can now shoot it alot more now:comeandgetsome:
Limbsaver pad by itself has been more than adequate for slugs, buckshot etc. for me.
I have one and love it. I use it for sporting clays with a 12 ga. shotgun and also just used it last weekend when sighting in a 30-30 at the rifle range. When doing sp.clays I double up with a pad inside a shooting vest.
Also use it for hd shotgun classes when shooting a lot in one day.
FYI the velcro on cheekpad is also nice. I don't know what brand it is but it is a gel pad that can go on any stock tightened up with velcro.
These aids plus two Advil before and after shooting really helps.
