    Talking new rifle!!!!!!!!

I just graduated and I wanted to buy myself a present. So I went to the gun store looking for a .22 caliber rifle so I have something to shoot cheaply. I was thinking about getting a 10-22 originally. But, when I arrived another gun caught my eye! It was a S&W 15-22! I couldn't talk myself out of it so I got it! I paid $500 out the door with 2 magazines and 200 rounds of ammo. What do you think of the price and the gun? Sorry for the low quality picture. I'll take more at the range tomorrow!

I'd say that it looks like a 'fun gun', and cheap to shoot, too! Enjoy!

Sweet gun!!! Definitely a fun shooter and a good price. You'll enjoy it for sure. Don't discount a high capacity quick and accurate shooting 22 rifle for home defense. You can put a lot of lead on target in a short period of time with that thing. Give us a good range report.

Awfully fun plinker you purchased and you did OK price wise.......you need to get the SIG 522 next! I played with both of them side by side and went with the SIG because I have a .22 conversion kit for my AR's that I use often and the SIG uses the same "Blackdog" mags. I still may get the S&W 15-22, its a cool little number. Got to love the .22 blackrifle plinkers for cheap shooting fun, they are hard to beat on the fun meter.

Nice. I don't know anything about that gun but it sure does have the curb appeal so to speak.

Yes, now get back to your holster bench.

ok guys! I went out and shot about 300 rounds today and all I can say is this thing is amaaaazing!! I forgot my camera so no pictures, but I am going back tomorrow! I also bought a NcSTAR Laser and red dot for it and it is working great! I did a ruff zeroing and it shot great! Tomorrow I will take a bunch of pics and do a final zeroing. Here is the gun with the sight picture with a bushmaster AR-15!
