    Another Saiga conversion thread....

Ok, so I finally decided it was time to go ahead and rectify the whole "lack of a 12 gauge in my house" situation I've been in. So I went and dropped some money at the LGS to have them hold a Saiga 12 for me.

I'm very familiar with 922(r), and how many parts I'll need for compliance, but my question is, who should I buy the parts from? I know companies like Tapco, Marc Krebs, and that's really about it.

Recommend some parts makers for me to check out and stock up on while I make payments on my S12 please.

I would rather stand against the cannons of the wicked than against the prayers of the righteous.

Well I think HotGuns about summed it up with his post. CSS is great to deal with and ships fast.

Congrats on your S12. Defiantly a fun gun. I have one converted and a stock one stashed for a future project.

The links HotGuns posted are the main vendors. CSS seems to be my source lately. Greg's prices are fair and his turn around is very fast.

In case you haven't checked out the Saiga 12 forum:

    http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showforum=2

There are more vendors there (Dinzag, Accessory Arms etc).

You might want to consider running it to make sure it is OK before you do any conversion. Candiz does free warranty service for Saigas, but converted ones are a different situation.

I used CSS for everything. Very pleased with them.

Another place worth mention is Dinzag Arms
