    BCM Cosmetic Blem AR Lowers.

I've been thinking about buying a complete lower from BCM for a while now. I see they offer cosmetically blemished lowers for about $100.00 less then the regular ones.

From what I can tell, all the build parts are the same, just the finish is not perfect.

If you know anything about these, please let me know.

    Thanks

From what I hear, they are GTG. I usually "blem" my ARs on my first trip to the range, so if I were in the position to buy one right now, I'd snap them up.

    BCM makes good stuff.

Agreed!!....You're not buying a safe queen, are you? BCM is most definitely GTG...my next AR will be a BCM rifle.

Varob. If you are building a working/fighting rifle who cares. If you want a perfect finish so it looks good go for the more expensive one.
When I have a fighting rifle built I tell them what type, AK or AR, and any special features and leave the rest up to them. I can be a frugal sucker so if they can get parts cheaper because it has less than perfect finish but shoots just the same guess which one I get?
BCM makes some great parts go for it you won't be disapointed.

I'm definitely not interested in a safe queen. I'm thinking about a budget build which will more than likely be made up of a BCM lower and a Spikes mid length upper.

If it's just scratches or nicks and dings I'm not worried about that, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something like it being milled out of spec or something.

I decided to go with a Spikes complete lower. It's on sale for $250.00+ sh and ffl fees.
