I know not what this "overkill" means.
Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.
Pretty cool looking. Why bother with sights?

Slugs? Flight Control buckshot? Sights on a shotgun are useful in many situations.
Battle Plan (n) - a list of things that aren't going to happen if you are attacked.
Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.
ok, Ill take one with a green laser, single point sling and a few cases of buck&ball rounds. Any idea as to when and the price?
An interesting feature is that apparently it has 7 shells on the left and 7 on the right and you can choose which side to feed from by flipping a switch.
I don't think this will be used much at the trap and skeet range or hunting quail. For home defense it's as maneuverable as a sawed off shotgun. Point and shoot...just needs a flash light.
Kel-Tec KSG bullpup Shotgun
-Yes, it's civilian legal (18.5" barrel, 26" OAL), identical size to the RFB, just a little wider.
-Cylinder bore 12 gage-2.75". 14+1 rounds.
-manually switched dual-tube mag (7 each), switch is behind the grip, at the front of the loading/ejection opening. Switch can be centered to un-chamber a round without re-chambering.
-bottom ejecting and loading

Just a couple of thoughts, that sucker is gonna be heavy with 15 rounds of 12 gauge in it.
The grip on the forearm is probably going to be really wide, meaning that a vfg on the front would probably be a good option.
I wonder about the length of pull on it, also, I'm going to assume that the loading/ejecting port is somewhere near the rear end of the weapon, which I could see as requiring rather awkward movements to clear a jam or reload.

My interest is definitely piqued. Kel Tec is doing some cool stuff these days on the higher end. I assume this will be slightly pricey, but if it works, it should be worth it.
What a wonderful way to have a shotty where you can select slug or shot by loading each side differently, It takes thinking outside the box for innovations like this hats off to Kel-tec. Im sure it will be pricey but well worth the investment for that type of weapon.
True, but I'd also be careful about using the dual tubes like that (to split buck/slug). I would imagine it would be easy to get confused in a firefight and select the wrong one.
Now I might be interested in this if the price is right.

Well kel-tec is doing some cool stuff and i think this is some of that cool stuff, it doesnt always have to be the same old thing. Good to see some people thinking outside of the box.

I've been in a holding pattern on buying any new firearms but I will have to cave on this one. It does look cool, first shotgun from Kel-Tec right ? What would you think price wise 350-450 maybe closer to 500?
It seems this shotgun has ruffled some feathers over on "Cheaper Than Dirt" guy has a point as far as the Anti Gunners, doesn't take much for them to start ringing the bell. http://cheaperthandirt.com/blog/?p=5659
