My AR "overhaul project" question.

on the Magpul MOE does it come with a rail system? Or do you have to buy that little extra package of inserts to attach the rails? Which I find hard to justify if I'm only needing one rail insert.
It's a carbine so would free float really be that much better? Been toying with the idea.
Very unlikely I'll be shootin' beyond 150yards.

I think it's a great system. It makes for a very light gun, feels good in your hand and you can also use your AFG, vert grip or hand stop.
There's a great thread on another forum for what to do to your AR to squeeze the most reliability out of it if you bought a Gun that would be considered more "commercial grade" than "professional grade". Not saying you did, just figured I'd mention it since you're talking about an overhaul.
Be sure to post some pics when you're done!
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe

Thanks. I just might post pics...but don't expect too much. I am just a humble civilian working with his first AR learning the in's and outs. It might resemble a riced out honda....heh.
