I personally have a 18'' Winchester Ranger 94 in .44 Mag in one room, and an RRA Entry Tactical AR-15 Carbine with Pentagon Light weaponlight.

I really like the levergun in pistol calibers for HD, although it doesnt seem there are many being used for this purpose anymore.
18"? Did you have the carbine shortened?

    House rifle

Bushmaster M4 type carbine, but in all actuality I would probably not use the rifle as I live in an apartment. So it would be more a PSYOP tactic to present the long gun.

If light rails were needed on handguns John Browning would have included it on the 1911.

Personally I am not an advocate of using a rifle for home defense. Using an AR/15 poses some liability if not used with a 50 grain franible round. I cant honestly imagine using a high powered rifle of any kind for Home Defense.

I dont have a problem with it. It is handy for when I hear coyotes trying to get at the barn, and is equiped with a Pentagonlight 120 weaponlight for illuminating the house. But then again, my closest neighbor is well over a mile and a half away, and happens to be one of Texas's largest prison units. Its a whole different world than the urban environment you are in, one that allows the use of a rifle when the situation may present itself. Of course, indoors a pistol is awlays my first choice, or the shotty.

hsu if I lived less than 2 miles from a prison I'd keep an AR handy too. Even if it was in an urban environment.

I haven't found a rifle I like AND can afford yet. I'm a dedicated shotgunner anyways. When I do finally get my rifles though I want the springfield armory M1A Scout Squad rifle, and a Bushmaster M4. Course I'm still working on getting my Glock 30 out of lay away for the moment.

    No Rifles...

almost all pistols, with night sights...but, I do have a customized coach gun...12 GA...with 00's. That should take care of a small crowd, and then I go to the pistola's.

Rem. 700 in 7mm Mag with a Leopold scope can easily take a BG out at more than 300 yds. My house is on 1/4 acre so I stick to the Kimber or my 629 Classic 5-in .44. If the SHTF, I might break out the Bennelli Nova with some 00 buck.

Right now all I have is an 870 shottie, but I'm in the process of buying one of the last new Winchester 30-30's in town. In my apartment I don't have to worry about any rounds going out of my "bunker" (aka basement apartment). But if I would have to get to my rifle for self defense, already firing all my .45, 9 mm, and 12 gauge rounds. I would be in serious trouble.

The .30-30 is going to be a truck gun for when I'm traveling. (even though my Peacemaker or 1911 is going to kill whatever deer I may hit)

AK47 underfolder w/ 154g SP. My revolver would be the first thing I grab but if they make me retreat for more firepower, then out comes the AK.

Main weapon is the PX4 in 9mm, but I also keep the CX4 carbine handy.
