Pretty neat. At the Aberdeen Proving Grounds Army Museum (MD) they have a german made rifle that the barrel is bent to shoot around corners.

I won't say which manufacturer, and I surly don't have many of the details. But I've seen a small part of a new development project for a 50 cal bullet that actually will turn a corner and find the target. Doubt we will ever get to buy it tho. Even if we could afford one.
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.
IMHO I think the Field of view is to limited and you can scan quicker without exposing yourself as much by pieing the corner and scanning horizontally and vertically.
