I saw a little blurb about this rifle in a gun rag the other day, here is the Mossberg website on it: O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. - Firearms, Shotguns, Rifles, Accessories, and Precision Machining

Probably the most noteworthy feature of it is the ability to feed from AR-15 mags. And while I don't envision running a 30 rounder or Beta-c mag out of a bolt action, I think that 10-20 rounds of 5.56 is appealing to me in a bolt action.

While I think that Mossberg is currently coming out with a lot of really innovative new things, and enjoy their shotguns thoroughly, I wonder about their bolt actions in general (the same gun rag also had an article about their new line of AR's they are now making). MSRP for the model without a scope is $649, so I would think a street price of $500-550 is probably about right.

And I realize the only caliber option is 5.56, and I am fine with that, I already have heavier caliber bolt action rifles covered.
