Considering the Mk318 I ordered and received is "factory seconds," I'm gonna stick with my 75 gr. TAP.

I keep 75gr TAP loaded as well, but what's wrong with mk318 "seconds" for stocking up?

Nothing. It just won't be used as a primary source of defensive ammo.

Oh, gotcha. The way I read it it seemed like you were disappointed.

Mk318 is good stuff. There's a shop in Idaho that sells 70gr TSX bullets cheap. I'm thinking of picking up 1,000 and working up a good, high velocity load. I'm no expert though on reloading, so we'll see!
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe
