    mini draco

Recent pistol acquisition that is running good. The little AK is a strong candidate for truck/car gun. Need to figure out a vehicle harness/holster or secure bag set up.

Have an MI rail on order that is specific to the mini, red dot soon.

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but once you but a foregrip on a pistol, doesn't it become a class 3 weapon? Or maybe an AOW.

I seem to recall seeing that somewhere.

AFG isn't supposed to be. May take it off till I get a copy of a letter distinguishing the two.

I am currently looking, trying to find where I read that before. Hotguns may know, he seems to be knowledgeable about such things.

I have read more regarding it being OK than not. Would appreciate any info. I have no problem running it without the AFG. Someday will SBR it but until then I want to be legit.

What kind of sling mount is that, and where did you get it?

Technically, the AFG isnt classed as a "foregrip" because it is not a 90 degree angle from the forearm, its more like a 45.

A foregrip can not be installed on a pistol unless it registered as a short barrelled rifle, because if one is installed it becomes a short barrel rifle, even though it does not have a stock.

Yes, I know it is stupid, but that is the way it is.

With that being said, I have been considering getting a mini draco and SBRing it. With something on it like a Magpul stock and a grip, it could be one sweet little rifle that would be good for backpacking, a truck gun or even four wheeling.
