    S&W M&P Sport, before & after.

    The night I bought it new.

    I can't wait to get this thing dirty this weekend, it's been flawless through about 900 rounds of steel and brass cased cheap stuff.

    Those sports are getting good reviews in the budget AR field. Green shag carpeting is pretty cool too.

    Good stuff. If it's just a plinker it probably doesn't matter much, but a good set of folding back-up sights would be nice :)

    I like how the Sports come with the trigger guard as a piece of the lower receiver.

    The BUIS are in the works. And I agree with you on the trigger guard. I'll get back with a good report on the torture (which I say lightly) and stress I'm gonna put this thing through, to see how reliable it is. So far it seems way more than plinker quality, but I haven't had it real long either.

    I just picked my M&P 15 Sport today and already added an ERGO grip already. I hate those stock military grips.

    Amen to that... that damn mil-spec trigger guard gap is a finger-eater. After my first serious training course, my right middle finger was raw for almost a week. Both the ARs have the MagPul 'enhanced' TG now.

    My ERGO grip came with a little rubber piece to fill that gap, I had no need for it, so I gave it to a friend of mine.

    Yeah, I added a Vltor MUR. The FA is useless, but I like the way it looks.
