Not quite. The YHM 762 QD retails for 724.00

The SAS 762 QD retails for around 800.00

The Huntertown is supposed to be in the 500.00 range.

    Lots of difference there.

We just got hit with snow yesterday. It's about time. Feels a bit more like the holidays.

These suppressors seem nice, but I cannot find any info on them except for the .22 cal versions. Are these and the 9mm suppressor still not released?

    Good.

I would like to get a suppressor, but not sure between a suppresed 10/22 or a 9mm suppressor. Now to find a class 3 ffl that doesn't charge $100 for a transfer.

I like the idea, especially since the ATF no longer allows the restampong of a replacement. But, for $400 or $500 and a number of removable parts... Well, time will tell.

I hope they prove themselves as I do appreciate the concept. I'm not a fan of threaded suppressors, but it was mentioned there's a QD option. I looked on the site but didn't find it, so I'll check back on that.

Depending on the mount, I wouldn't mind giving on a try. I'm sure it was mentioned and I just missed it, what's the weight and total length on the 5.56 and 7.62 models?
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe

The cans a mounts aren't listed yet, they will be after the first of the year. They are in production now. You will be able to buy Omni Mounts for other popular QD mounts along with the HUntertown Arms mount. The weight is 19oz and the length is less than 7".

To clarify, if you need a part replaced, you must send the can to Huntertown Arms for them to do the replacement. You can strip and clean your can since it's user serviceable. You can also switch the stack order on the baffles which extends the life of the baffles. The one closest to the blast chamber takes the most abuse. This is what the Huntertown Arms guys were saying anyway.

If you had a worn out suppressor, you used to be able to send it in, they'd stamp your serial number on a new suppressor and destroy the old one. You'd get a new suppressor but it didn't require new registration.

I may be slightly off here, but a while back someone wrote the ATF asking why they couldn't have their serial stamped on a new lower so they didn't have to register it again as an SBR. This resulted it clarification that they could no longer do this to suppressors. My point was... With this suppressor, the serial number is on the back half. The baffles and front come off which would likely allow a replacement of the important parts without sacrificing your serial number.

I'll link to the article once I dig it up.
