My wife gave me the green light to go buy a new gun for Christmas so I decided on the 590A1, 9 shot 20" heavy barrel with the speed feed stock and ghost ring sights.
Here are a couple of pics rounding out my black gun self defense trio, (rifle, shotgun, pistol). Shown with my Stag Arms mod 2 and a choice few of my handguns, Glock 22 RTF2, Kimber TLE, and Springfield XD .45 Compact.

I've never used a Strikefire. Let's see... It doesn't look like it's mounted backwards...
I'm gonna take a stab at it and guess that it needs a riser-mount to see over the front sight post.

I don't see it. I mean, besides the fact that it's a Vortex sight... ;)It appears to have an absolute cowitness instead of a 1/3rd. I'd probably remove the lens covers or at least flip the front one down. I just don't see it yet.It's always nice to see a family photo.
