What I'd really like to see them make is a decently priced pump action rifle in assorted calibers. How about a Mossberg Security pump-action chambered in .357mag, .44mag, or .45 Colt? Something like the old Lightning, but lower priced.

That is one ugly rifle. I would love to get my hands on a .30-30 lever-gun, but that thing would be the absolute bottom of the list. Give me a Marlin any day.

An idea from the movie Cowboys and Aliens no doubt.

Nothing I have seen from SHOT interests me.

    What next? A tactical flintlock?

That's it. I'm putting picitinny rails on everything now. My keyboard, my TV remote, my dog...

I don't like the look of the rifle at all, but you have to consider the market. We have friends that live in the People Republic of Kalifornia who are treated like criminals and are limited to the types of firearms they can purchase or own. This feels the void and I wouldn't want to be down range from the guy with a lever action and knows how to use it. Ugly??? Yes, Practical for our "criminal" neighbors??? Yes. I prefer wood, but this would work for someone who had no other choice.

I'm curious as to what the average age of people who don't like this is.

It would go very nicely with a pearl-handled, nickel-finished engraved Glock.
