I wouldn't be afraid of steel cased ammunition unless you want ammunition you can reload yourself. (If you shoot brass and don't reload, try picking it up and saving it. It usually isn't hard to find a reloader who will take it off your hands for a couple bucks or whatever.)

Also, might want to use the [proper] term "magazine" instead of "clip". You know how some of us gun guys can be... ;)

Just order the BCM upper, and have it delivered to your home.

If you want the lower to match brand, then order the BCM lower and have it transferred by FFL. The order form is right there on the website: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/v/vsp...der%20form.pdf

Your dealer/FFL just has to provide his signed paper.

I am not sure what your state does for FFL tax, transferring the whole firearm would get me taxed for the full rifle ($900 - $1500 whatever). But if I order the BCM lower separately ($380), then I would get taxed on just the $380.

the only dif i see is one is cold hammer forged. When they say cold hammer forged that mean longer barrel life. is it worth it for the guy who goes out and shoots on the weekend to get?
I would not get cold hammer forged, not worth it for me. In a rifle class, the main instructor had a stainless CHF barrel he was bragging about, but he was also bragging that he didn't pay for it. From what I've heard, yes it is higher end, but most of us wont get our money's worth with it.
