AK47 Draco SBR with a pic
I got my stamp today after six and a half months. It is together, but isn't finished. We got the first of two holes drilled and tapped. Then we broke the tap off right as it came through the trunnion. So we still have to extract the tap and finish the threads and she'll be legal and ready to be sighted in.
It has an 11.5 inch barrel and is 28.75 inches overall.
Parts list:
ACE side folding 7.5 inch stock
Midwest Industries handguards
Midwest Industries flash hider.
US PALM grip
Magpul AFG
It's debatable as to whether NFA items are required to be 922(r) compliant and as usual, ATF has said both ways, so I just went ahead and made this one compliant.
I'm planning to eventually put a Trijicon RMR on it.

Sweet looking Draco you have their Agave. I want to SBR one quite badly.
For now I just have to stick with my guilty pleasure of firing one bullseye style.

Nice!
I definitely have one of these on my list!
Just need to find the right one and decide to actually do it.
Hope it works good for ya!

The boss finally got his stamp back for his Draco, which is at the top.

Good luck with finding a Draco. They've been dried up for over a year. We both plan on building a Serbian Pap AK pistol into SBRs in the future. They are plentiful, but not cheap. And frankly, they are nicer than Dracos.

Looks great!
Any idea on the weight? That looks like it would pretty much be the ultimate pack/hiking/survival rifle... I would love to give this a shot with something in 5.45x39.

I plan on doing a couple of the Serbian Paps and turning them into SBR's. I'm thinking that the sighting system is better. I may build one to look like a Krink and then do the other to look crazy eyed.

Does anyone have one of the Serbian pistols yet? I'm wondering if they are goofy about parts fitting them. IIRC the Yugo AKs were not the normal spec.
