Video - How much do you love the M1 Garand?
Do you own an M1 Garand? Have you thought about getting one? Have you ever shot one?
I do not own one, but it is one rifle I've always wanted to own some day. I've shot one on 4 or 5 occasions, and it was an awesome experience. I vowed to get one someday. It has yet to happen. And shootable versions are getting more and more scarce and more and more expensive.
Below is a two part video series Nutnfancy just completed on the M1 Garand Main Battle Rifle.
I learned a lot from it and it makes me want to own one even more.
Yes, they are long videos. Fifty plus minutes for each part. If you don't like long videos and more importantly, if you don't like Nutnfancy, then don't watch, and keep your negative comments to yourself. I found them to be very informative and very interesting. Besides, what else you got to watch on TV these days? More crap?
I hope you find them as enjoyable and informative as I did.

Got 2; one is a "plinker", one sits in a National Match stock with NM bolt, op rod and trigger group with air gauged barrel chambered in 308, and I have taken 2 deer with it; one really does not want to be on the business end of this one.

More like a PBS mini-series...
He had a lot of historical data in it. I did learn some stuff on the gun though.

I've only shot one once and loved it. Great accurate rifle that someday I'd love to get one in my stable.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.

I'm a longtime M1 user and the M1 would be the last rifle I'd keep if the others had to go.
Looking forward to viewing the video clips but got to go out and mow the yard.
