My First "Dancing Pony"...I couldn't help myself, the Kool-Aid was too good

Finally took the plunge...it followed me home...I couldn't resist.
Well...after a couple of years of deliberation, and many, many months of saving, it all finally came together on Saturday.
    I was torn between a S&W M&P-15 M.O.E. and the Sig M-400
My LGS had the S&W for $1049.00 and the Sig for $1069.00. I left there undecided...

I walked into Walmart to pick up some dog food, and made my obligatory trip to the gun and ammo counter, and low and behold good old Wally-World has a Colt M-4 LE-6920 for $1097.00

All I can say is...meet the newest member of my family, and my first "dancing pony"

That is an awesome deal! I've never heard of Wally-World carrying them. You rang the bell on that one - congrats!

I have that same chair, btw...

Like WHEC724 said I too have never seen or heard of Wally World carrying the Colt ARs. That was a good find at a decent price. Now go buy a lot of ammo and have some fun.

Colts are really nice,I would suggest that you invest in a more secure storage vessel for your firearms.

I know, mine stopped selling guns about a year ago... they still sell lots of ammo, cleaning supplies, and so on... but no guns :(

I knew someone would notice my old glass door gun cabinet in the background.
You're right sir, I do need to do some more shopping.

I like them. They are great pieces of furniture, and add to any mans house. I have 6 that are completely loaded full. Safes are ugly and have no appeal, although I have one to store my more valuable guns and things in. Insurance is the key.

I hate Wally - World, but I would brag about it being my new favorite store if I could walk out with one of them! Nice addition!

    Dancing pony?

Dang, I thought you bought a Ferrari!

Colt's not a bad alternative, though!

BTW, I'm not a big fan of Wally-China-World, but I have never, ever seen anything like an AR for sale there, and I've been to a few here in Arizona! Your local store must have some inspired management.
