I've been thinking about getting one of these but I didn't realize that it kicked so hard. Looks like I'll have to try one out to see if its going to be something I'm going to want to put with, etc. I mainly want it for HD, so perhaps I can since I won't be putting a million rounds through it. You still need to train with it though, that could turn into an "ouch" session.

You have to take 'some' to give 'some' Maybe 2 3/4 not as bad?
I have one. I think it's a soft shooter compared to an 870, for example. I haven't had mine all that long and in a few months I'll be trading it to a friend for some Striders since I'm just not a shotgun guy. If I was, it would certainly be one of my favorites.

Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe
Thanks for the comments.
After putting nearly 150 rounds of 00Buck through it followed by 50 of heavy birdshot my shoulder did not hurt at all the next morning.
