New toy!!
After much debating and talking to Tacman a lot about it, I finally topped my ak with a ultimak and aimpoint t-1! I was a little nervous about it being too far forward but it works out quite well. I am so happy with my purchase. At first I was nervous about spending the money but now I am happy I did. I have a pa micro dot and the quality is okay but seeing a real aimpoint micro, its easy to tell where the money is. It is tough as a tank as well and its all mine :D. Just wanted to brag to my fellow DC members! Here is some pics!

"Tough as a tank" - you got that right! Pat Rogers frequently uses one like a hockey puck in his carbine classes to prove their ruggedness. I didn't need the night-vision capability so I saved some bucks by going with the H-1, and spent my savings on LaRue QD mount.

Red dots will work regardless of distance from your eye. The only possible issue is it's possible for the RDS to be far enough away that the dot is hard to find. But there is no rifle long enough to cause that problem, except maybe some old musket or something.

That's a thing of beauty Mattmann! Now you need to post it on the SHTF rifle thread. Sure looks like something I'd like to have around.

Just curious how much did the sight cost compared to the rifle itself? I saw one on amazon for like $650 0_o Nice sight.

I have a new toy too. I know it's not a gun, but with 160hp, it is a bit of a rocket. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

I got the sight for $580 and the ultimak for $100. Nice bike bro! Makes me feel like I might need one of those now too. Lol. Thanks for the comments!

It's a very nice toy and it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
