Just ordered my first rifle :D - best wife ever

As an early B-day present my wife let me get a rifle :o, I searched for over a month and only came up with some "lower end" choices. I just ordered it and can't wait for it to get here. Thanks to Timmy for suggesting it, and everyone else for teaching me what to look for.

Ok Burns! I approve!!! I think you will like it. One thing, flat top with the optics rail. Depending on the optic that you choose you may see a shadow or ghost from the front site, which is also a gas block. You may want to change out the front site with gas block at a later date. Not a big deal but you have to get the correct size gas block. Some gas blocks have just a rail or others have a fold down option for an iron site. I like the Yankee Hill parts but they are expensive ( but worth it). they also have a model with a rail on the bottom and the top.

Please, more than a couple! AR mags are ultimately "consumables"... I'd say six per AR is a good minimum to work with.

Hey....I figure it's worth it even if there's a breach of contract in the future. Don't worry about it so long as you keep the freezer, microwave, and microwave dinners, you'll be good on the range! LOL!

Welcome to the EBR club. You've no doubt made it onto no less than 1/2 a dozen government watch lists plus the Brady campaign. But, you're in good company. And a fine rifle. atctimmy steered you to a decent rifle. Enjoy it, and become proficient with it. You may need it one day.
