    My new Colt LE6920

I was walking through Walmart today and naturally I had to swing by the sporting goods section, and low and behold a Colt M4 LE6920 for $1097 was sitting in the case. Short story shorter, I went home with it.

On another note; what's everyone's opinion on a 1:7 twist rate and 55gr ammo? This is a topic I am relatively unfamiliar with, but I do recall hearing mixed view's on the subject.

I have an LE6920. I haven't had any problems shooting 55 grain ammo out of the 1/7" twist barrel. I'd rather have that twist rate because I can shoot the heavier stuff if I need/want to.

I bought my Colt from Walmart for the same price. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Now get a couple thousand rounds of ammo, about a dozen magazines and you'll be set, unless you plan to put on some type of optic.

The most accurate AR I ever had was a Colt. If I were going to ever buy another I'd buy a Colt again. I'm not even a bit fan of AR style guns but something about the Colt just was perfect for me.

Congrats on the new AR. I haven't had any problems shooting 55gr out of my 1:7 twist barrel yet, but I'm only about 200 rounds in.

I am shooting that 1:7 twist in my PSA with XM193 55gr and it is very accurate and no issues. Only 100 rds through so far though.

My Colt LE 6920 has become my favorite rifle. If I had to flee with only one rifle, it would be the Colt. BTW, my Walmart only sells .22 rifles!

Make sure you look hard in your Walmarts ammo case. Mine had a .50 box full of .223 ammo stuffed in the back of the case. Cant remember the price but it was enough to make me wish I bought my AR already.

    Congrats on the purchase

I got one too. just haven't been able to take it out.
    It's just still too dry.
    But I will soon.
I have been putting additions to it. Troy Industies buis, quad rail, 1/2 riser for the optics and rds.
