They are great rifles, so small and light it's unreal. At less that 6lbs empty it's a handy little truck gun for sure.

If it was, he needed more training.

I've built a few that look just like that. They are excellent rifles.
    Rifle Dynamics is good stuff.

The 5.45x39 guns like this one are fairly rare. To get one you must either buy it used (someone else built it) or buy a parts kit, US made barrel, receiver and other small parts then have it built by a qualified gunsmith.

You're looking at $1600+ for the rifle and another $200 for the tax stamp.

I would simply love to have one like that. I can't have SBR currently in Michigan though. Are there Draco's in 5.45?
I can carry a Draco concealed, but can't own a SBR Krinkov. Maybe I could pin a 8-inch flash hider or suppressor on the end of the booster. ;) JK
Seriously though, this set up would be great for a truck gun or bug-out bag. I'm thinking that the SLR-106U sold by Atlantic might be as close as I can get to this set up. It is .223 but would be legal for me. Shipping Pistols : SLR-106U 5.56 x 45 mm (.223) PISTOL
The other option would be the SLR-106UR which has a 16 1/4 inch barrel. Shipping Rifles : Arsenal SLR-106UR 5.56x45mm(.223)

Other than the obvious lack of a stock, what would be the disadvantages of the SLR-106U compared to the AKS-74U?

Great video! Very informative, very well made, and without all the blowhard nonsense. Thank you!
