FN FS2000 or Sig 556?
For a more modern LEO patrol rifle which would you choose? I think I would pick the FS2000. I have never fired or handled a bullpup before but it think they offer alot. For a rifle to go in a patrol car overall length is a concern. On the other hand I love anything from Sig (Except the GSRs).

I've had the opportunity to work on the 556 rifles.........I'd say to hang on to your money........wait til you see the 556 rifles when they come out and GRAB ONE FAST!......
The Lowers are all drop forged, and they're being milled out on a 5 axis machine as I type.(1st shift is working right now, as I'm on 2nd shift at Sig)
You're gonna love em..
Kinda look like the SG552 commando series guns

I fondled both at SHOT '06. They both seem like very nice guns. I plan on purchasing a 556. Another nice gun was the updated Steyr AUG.

I'd love to get my hands on an FS2000 (F2000 would be even sweeter, selective fire...) but they're pretty expensive.
Dont know a lot about either, just thought i'd chime in with that.

Theyre both pretty sweet designs. I think I would take the Sig 556 however simply because I like it. Though that FS2000 bullpup has a very powerful attraction......
Be nice to have both.

I like the lines of the FS2000 better. The Sig 556 seems to be too jagged looking for some reason. They both take Ar mags which is good.

Parts availibility would be the deciding factor, for me. Stinks to have a $2K door-stop......

My thinking exactly. I will not own any firearm that I cannot purchase spare parts for from some source.
