    To the squids

I have a Garand chambered in 308, ordered it that way with air gauged barrel, sitting in a National Match stock with NM bolt and op rod, use to shoot high power matches; it is one sweet shootin' stick.

I thought the only difference in a leatherneck and a squid was webbing between the toes!

Great rifle! Best of luck and get the rest of the story... I got my first expert rifle ribbon shooting an M1 308... and I doubt anyone at the Navy range did a rechamber job on it...

I'd love to get one myself... CMP still has a few once in a while... Just had an email from them about two weeks ago talking about a few they had but they were all rebarrelled...

Would love to know the history when you find out. That is the gun I want most. They are just cool.
