Carrying 30-30 ammo on a LBV

I am trying to set up another bug out vest for my wife utilizing her 30-30. What are your ideas on how to carry ammo on a molle vest?

That's a tough niche to fill. I'd suggest a few Quick Strips (similar to the traditional Bianchi Speed Strips) with 4 or 5 rounds each, carried in an appropriately-sized Molle pouch.

Find a pouch they fit in, to keep them out of the elements. Some sort of strip to keep them in place is a good idea too.

Butt cuff on the gun itself.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

    Get her a cartridge belt.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.

    Bandoleers. Western style.
As we used to teach in the spook business, carry a 25 if it makes you feel good, but do not ever load it. If you load it you may shoot it. If you shoot it you may hit somebody, and if you hit somebody - and he finds out about it - he may be very angry with you. -- Jeff Cooper

Most rifle rounds today come in plastic retainers, find mag pouches they fit in,or if she can sew make some canvas pouches that hold 20 to 40 rounds in each pouch and an attaching system

In the same vein as dukalmighty, Special Operations Technologies make the exact thing that he is talking about as far as pouches that hold the plastic trays that the ammo comes in. Says it's for .308, but should fit .30-30 fine:
