    Exciting to see and read! I like your rifle better than any AR15.

    A 1903 Springfield is old school. Your M1A is cutting edge in my view.

    Im jelous Ive always wanted an m-1a. But just cant bring myself to pay the price for one.

    If you shoot a few dozen rounds thru one, you'll find it's a bit easier....

    I was shooting an AR-15 in high-power practice years ago and one of the guys there let me shoot his M1 Garand. That was fun but not that convenient. That was what got me interested in the M1A at first - similar feel to the Garand but the convenience of the AR. They are fun to shoot. The rifle is a bit heavy as outfitted now, but should be very accurate.

    It could be fun to go do some hog hunting somewhere. I'm sure that I would feel much better using this than my DDM4 (5.56) with a 200-300 lb animal running at me.
