    Burris AR-332

I was at the range last week shooting my AR and a gentleman came up and we started talking. He had just purchased an AR and pulls it out to show me his red dot scope. It was a Burris AR-332. He hands me the rifle and I must say I was very impressed with it. Didn't get to shoot it but spent time looking through it. I had targets at 25 and 100 yards and the view was great. So my question is do any of you have experience with this particular item? I have watched a few videos and everything I have found is positive. I would like to hear how reliable it is going to be how functional in close quarters. Let me know what you think

I've checked them out at some gun shops. I almost bought one. I think you can get it cheaper off the net at red-dot.com (or something like that). If I remember correctly, it was about $289.

A friend of mine is a state trooper and he said they're issued an Aimpoint Pro. He said he really likes it. Runs about $400 to $420. I was at a gun shop Saturday and they said they can't keep them in stock. They have 18 on order.

I have been thinking about an aimpoint also. Just checking out my options. Not sure if I need the magnification or not. Thanks for your input.
