Obviously 32.07% of people responding to this poll are ignorant of rifles, have probably never seen one in real life, and can't fathom the concept that guns aren't just for "killing people."

What difference does it make whether or not people "think" the Bushmaster .223 is an "assault weapon"? None. Zero. The more relevant poll question would have been whether or not people think that civilians should own weapons such as the Bushmaster .223, irrespective of what you call them. The objective answer to that question could indicate whether or not we will see some added limitations on "modern sporting rifles".

I just voted. Obviously ED is not going to like the answer he is getting! So it won't be reported. Typical libtard bovine fecal matter.

After taking the poll I decided to watch his show; Ed is a left wing fruitcake that spews mostly his opinions, lies and twisted fact. I would assume he is one of the main reasons MSNBC has only on average of 900,000 viewers per day VS Fox News 2.1 million per million per day. Fox has been #1 for the past 11 years.

I was wondering the same thing. I guess what he is trying to show is how ignorant many people are of terminology. I guess the Brady strategy to confuse the issue and missuse terminology is working quite well.

I thought journalism was to be impartial and unbiased?
By what I read this network is very liberal. News, pardon the pun,
is to be the facts and only the facts. Your listeners and readers
decide. Neutrality seems to NOT be written into the
principles of MSNBC. There appear to be some very uneducated
people on staff. What is a Assault weapon? I have now voted “No” to Mr. Ed
    11 times........what fun!
