Well, looking at the poll results, either people are more educated than I would have guessed, or people who know are all voting multiple times to make a point. Either way, I think the point will not be warmly recieved, and he won't be talking about it on his show like he had hoped.

I consider Ed's mouth an assault weapon. But then again I don't take stock in the talking heads from left or right.

I just voted again and the results are the same. When I went back after refreshing the page and voted again, it showed the same total votes. I wonder if he has shut off the no voting and is waiting until the yes votes catch up so he can "prove" that people believe it is an "assault weapon"

BTW: Rush recently had a good monologue on the definition of assault weapon.

Just voted, 67% voted that it is NOT an assault rifle.

Has anyone watched his show since the Poll started? He is presently on MSNBC from 8-9 Mon - Fri. I watched him last night and he made no mention of the poll...

I can't take this guy. I actually watch MSNBC. I'll watch Chris Matthews. Sure, he is an anti, but I can tolerate the show enough to learn what the peope I will later disagree with were told. I also like Morning Joe, because Fox and Friends is idiotic and CNN is unwatchable for me in the morning. I like balanced programing, Fox is right, MSNBC is left, so I'm suck with Morning Joe in the back groud as the closest thing to news in the morning.

ED IS A TOTAL IDIOT. He is just a mouth piece for the worst politics and media has to offer. The kind of guy who would shoot his own dog (he shot his dog on a hunting trip).

I don't like being mean to people, but ED states so many things in a one sided way but acting like he has facts, that it is a personal insult to my intelligence when I just hear a promo spot about his upcomming show topic.

So no, I'm not sure if he mentioned it, just hope it is viewed by some idiot viewer of MSNBC and it makes them rethink their world view even just a little.

Yes. Antis don't worry about facts, just how they feel about the firearm. Found out at work that many people think the school shooting was done with a full auto, and refuse to believe otherwise when they are told they are wrong. When I told one the cost it take to get a full-auto, they stated I did not have my facts right, it only cost $1,500 and you could walk out of any gun store with one, even wall mart. I ended the conversation by just telling them that later, when they find out how wrong they are, perhaps they should reconsider how wrong other assumed facts they hold true are and in general how wrong their world views might be.

I voted a couple of times and the vote total did not change. If it is like the last election all of our no votes are actually yes in the computer.
