Picked one up last week.Seems well made and heavy.Finish is nothing to brag about.I think it is a pretty fair gun.

They get good reviews as a decently made gun. My problem with it is that commies blatantly rip off Remington and copy them. I'd rather keep my money with a reputable American company. You can get a used 870 Wingmaster in the $200 range at most pawn shops in America.

I've got one, and like it. Only mod I made was the sidesaddle to hold a handful of extra shells, to give me options for loading.
I know it's a rip off, of the Remington 870, which I also have, but it was cheap enough that I allow it to live outside my gun safe, so that's it's readily available should I choose to go to it, without having to worry about it being stolen while I'm away from home.
Can you have too many 12 gauge pump shotguns? I think not.

I purchased my NEF / H&R Pardner Pump Protector on Black Friday this year for $159 at Dick's Sporting Goods. Yes it is a very good copy of the Remington 870 because the parent company that own Remington also owns NEF / H&R. I hope this helps. God Bless

Since it is a clone of the Remington 870 just look at the pictures of the modded 870's as that is what I do to try and envision what kind of mod I would like to perform next !!! God Bless

Did you know that NEF and Remington are both made in Remington's plant? Not much of a knock off when they are both made by the same people. DR
The NEF Pardner Protector takes any accessory that will fit the Remy 870 (except barrels). Mine has a side saddle, new stock set (Speed Feed) and a tac light.
Nice little shotgun for the money. I prefer the 870 because it is slightly smoother (the action) but I cannot complain about this NEF.

No they're not. They're made in China.
Listing the guns you own in your signature doesn't impress me or anyone else. Listing the amount of rounds downrange this year and training classes you've attended might though.

I do not have a Remy 870 but I have and own a H&R Pardner Pump Protector and from some of the other reviews on the internet from other owners that do own both, some say that the H&R PPP in some ways is better built than the Remy 870 as the trigger guard on the Remy 870 is plastic and on the H&R PPP it is metal. I do not know if this is true as I do not own a Remy 870. God Bless
