I inherited these two shot guns and would like to find out how old they are and what their value might be:
A Remington Model 1894, Ser#108992, PA followed by a star under each barrel. Side by side, hammerless.
The other is a Browning Automatic 12 ga. Ser# 50667. It has an FN on the butt plate and is the hump-type.
Try your local library, and see if they have a copy of The Blue Book of Gun Values. You might also try taking them to a local gun shop or pawn shop to see if they can value them.
"As a strong supporter of our 2nd Amendment rights, I believe tougher enforcement of our nation's existing gun laws must be done before any more laws are enacted and put on the books."

I believe both manufacturers will give you a manufacture date if you call with the SN. I've had excellent responses from other manufacturers as long as you don't need a hard copy of the info. If you do most charge a small fee.
