    Got these from an estate

I inherited these two shot guns and would like to find out how old they are and what their value might be:
A Remington Model 1894, Ser#108992, PA followed by a star under each barrel. Side by side, hammerless.
The other is a Browning Automatic 12 ga. Ser# 50667. It has an FN on the butt plate and is the hump-type.

    Nice finds!

I do not know the value but those are two sweet looking shotguns.

Try your local library, and see if they have a copy of The Blue Book of Gun Values. You might also try taking them to a local gun shop or pawn shop to see if they can value them.

I've got an Auto-5 myself, and I will say...I think you're really going to enjoy that one, should you decide to keep it. Awesome shotgun.

The A-5 looks nice - they are more common I think.

    I had to look up the 1894 - Model 1894 Side-By-Side Shotgun

Looks like yours is #<9,000 of 42,000 - could be pre-1900? What gauge is it?

I believe both manufacturers will give you a manufacture date if you call with the SN. I've had excellent responses from other manufacturers as long as you don't need a hard copy of the info. If you do most charge a small fee.
