I drank an entire bottle of Crown Royal in his honor last night. John was a good guy. A family man, outdoor enthusiast and one of the best rifle manufacturers on the planet.

Met John only once at SHOT SHOW and had a few beers with him later that night with a bunch of other industry leaders. He was humble and had a great sense of humor.

Terrible loss to the industry that he helped in more way's than one.

Man, that really sucks. My Noveske SPR is one of the finest rifles I've ever handled, and his company was a pleasure to deal with. From all accounts, he was a stand-up guy, far too rare a trait these days. RIP.

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

All Moon pies are stored in the under ground bunker, along with my ammo.
