    IWI Tavors are just about here.

    I picked up my copy of the new US made IWI Tavor today. They will be shipping to distributors next month, I'm certain of that at this point.

    Here's a pic of the rifle I picked up today. The MSRP is $1999. I know the guys at Atlantic Firearms will be getting a shipment here soon.



    The rifle doesn't come with the Trijion SRS sight pictured. You can get the IDF version with a Meprolight sight similar to the configuration the IDF uses. They will also be available in FDE with a 9mm and 5.45x39 kit hitting soon. I had the chance to see the FDE versions at SHOT Show this year and to shoot the 9mm conversion. I believe these rifles are going to be very popular on the US market. They do use standard AR15 mags.

    Me Want! Me Want! I always vacillated on a pS90 and regretted not getting one, but this looks cool and at a good price. I would be interested in a comparison with the PS90 or the F2000. It looks like a good match for the 2000.

    Nice rifle...but...is it worth $2000? Not to me.

    For $2000 I can buy 5 lever guns. Is this rifle "better" than a lever gun? Sure. 5 x better? No.

    I'll be curious to see what the street price is - especially with the currently insanely inflated prices for anything semi-auto.

    I think that in the times to come you will be better off with you and five friends armed with a lever gun than with any of the panic guns. I like ARs but I'm thinking about selling high and loading up on things less costly.

    Back to the Tavors: They look cool and I await MAC's review.
