Follow Up on Olympic Ar 7.62x 39 sst

Just a follow up on my previous post a while back where I had problems right out of the box. FTF, FTE and so on! I sent it back to Olympic arms and received it back within 10 days. Everyone was Very helpful and Courteous, however I never got reimbursed for my shipping charges back to them. I took the gun out this weekend and proceeded to run 200 plus rounds through it without any problems. They never did tell me anything other than they could not duplicate the problem However I am very satisfied because it shoots wonderful and my wife Loves it to. Could not get it back once she started shooting it. I would give them 4 out of 5 stars now. Thanks Olympic Arms !!!

Good for you Tim! I'm glad to hear it's working.

@Gallardo: 7.62X39 is not the same as 7.62X51 NATO.

It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

    Great that it's working 4 U.
The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.

They make a special mag/follower for them,IIRC the 30 rounders have more curve due to the fatter cases than 5.56

Where are you finding 7.62X39 at pre-panic pricing? I have 1000 rounds on backorder, will not see it till June. I did pick up 100 rounds at a gun show saturday, but I had to pay $40 for 100 rounds. I am used to paying about $28 per 100.
some of the vendors were selling tula and wolf for $13 per 20 rounds. Way to expensive.
