    Survival gun?

A couple of years ago I would see these in gun magazines. It's a .223 carbine mounted under a 12 gauge pump. Are these things still around, or did they disappear with the adds?

It's an M203 wannabe. Too much weight for my taste.

Its not really a carbine, but Savage makes one. It is heavy.

    Question Addition

Wasn't there also a bolt on .223 that attached to the front end of a 12 shotty?

Possibly it was just a prototype or something that (obviously) never really caught on.

I know I'm not bonkers when I say that there was an "add on" that transformed a shotgun into a combo firearm.

I want to say it was Kel-Tec, but I'm not sure. It was a pump 12 and the rifle was semi. One pistol grip and trigger for both. Likely it was extremely heavy and about useless for any practical purpose.

I'm not looking to buy one; this is just part of my zombie research.

Not unbearably heavy, and not an unreasonable concept, during the AWB. "CrossFire"? Something like that. The last one I saw was about $1k, and it seemed to be the going rate. Remington makes the 7600 series centerfire pump carbines, and the 870 is a cruiser stand-by, the option of either/or, with the flick of a lever could be nice.

    I don't think it was a Kel-Tec.

Thanks Rob72, it was the Crossfire I was looking for. Kel-Tec came to mind because of the size and placements of the advertisements were similar.

Something like this could be usefull, but I don't think it's the ultimate zombie gun.

Aside from the Crossfire there was the opposite kit that bolted a 12ga under an AR.
