Im glad it "looks" like one cause that was my intent. Actually its a Arm M15 with a A1 surplus barrel and fore arm. I put an ambi safety on it to. Im used to full size rifles and had a mid life crisis for the A1 I carried when my eyes were clear and step was light. Its a bit cumbersome for a patrol rifle but its a great shooter. Normally I load modern plastic mags in it but do keep some 'Nam era's which work fine.

Nothing wrong with leaving a rifle alone when it works good. Those rifles always look good even if they are the evil black color.

    Glad it works.

But, what is it? Make/model, etc.

....Was Tempted to go modern with it but it shoots so nice now I figured leave it alone. I might buy a carbine before I retire but think I'll leave this one alone.

It seems for many there is a contest to see who can hang the most junk on an AR. I like my life simple; my guns also.
