    AR Folding BUIS

Saw some folding BUIS at the LGShow that had diamond shaped apertures. Till then I’ve only seen round. Would that enhance your sighting?

Why diamond or round? Is this the next new something for BUIS?

Been around for years. Supposedly quicker to center, but taking the time to center isn't reply faster.... If that makes sense. I've never bought into it.
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe

It's just something to seperate one BUIS from another. It's called creative marketing, which means it doesn't have to be factual or true. It just needs to get you to buy the product.

I would imagine the idea is akin to a red dot sight with dot versus circle-dot. I like circle dot because it draws my eye to a 2.5MOA dot much faster, even when I know it's in the center of the field of view. The converging vectors of the parallelogram on a diamond reticle may do the same sort of thing.. at least that's the idea it seems.
