    Finished my rifle

    Hows it look ?
Finished the build a few days ago, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet due to my diverticulitis.
Anyways I'm stoked to finally have my own AR built from scratch by myself

JD machine lower, Daniel defense internals, IDF FAB grip, mil collapsible stock "tapco", BCM upper, BCM gunfighter chrg handle, m16 BCG, free float carbine handle (custom), Rock river 16" 1/9 hbar C/L, KAC flat top rear sight+handle, YHM flip up front sight. Items not pictured FAB defense magwell grip and eotech zombie (blacked out).
I think that covers it all, mags are 10/30s (Commiefornia law :() by magpul. Ordered a Meyers flash suppressor mil.

It's special to me because it is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine!
The hbar is something I wanted to have and the free float tube/handle. I may change out the tube with a rail by DD.

That's "...Bringin' in a couple of Keys"(as in Kilos of pot).

    OP,
Looks nice and sounds like you went with quality components. It should be a reliable shooter.

Make sure you staked the castle nut properly or it will loosen up eventually. You didn't mention who's BCG you used, I'd verify the staking on that as well.

Though in after thought, if you assembled the upper yourself you probably know that.

I've been diverting a lot away from the ammo budget, myself, lately. You too, hm?

The gun looks nice. Simple, clean and efficient. Just my sort of weapon. Never have enjoyed the overwrought, overburdened look.

First you bought your 30 round rebuild kits yet? Do it know they are going out the door soon ( so you can have 30 rounders for out of state or if SHTF * la riots *)

Have you though of running it featureless ? Even more so if you have pre ban 30 rounders ( did you live in Ca before 2000?) .. All you have to do is replace the pistol grip fix the stock and put a comp on and there you go drop free mags ..

What kind of bullet button you running on there ? I hear the radlocks are great as you can swap them to free state mode and use them drop free.. I do hope you have a bullet button , cause if you dont ....

That grip and mag well cover will look nice .

    Nice rifle .

Lol the bcg is just a $100 bcg. The stacking looks good, when I get in some more fedia (Franklin's) I'm going to replace it with a nickel boron bcg "smoother action". Of course it has a bullet button! My usgi metal mags that are 10/30s are made in early 90s, pinned before shipped to me. I'm going to be moving out of Cali to the Midwest so most of the bs will be removed. I forgot to mention the barrel is NATO 556.

    I take it a 37mm launcher is a Grenada launcher ?

Looks great! What is really important is how does it shoot! Hopefully you can give us a range report soon! Good luck!
