I have a 870 in 20 gauge. The solid wood stock is very heavy, it weights 26 oz!! What are my options for light weight stocks? Will that magpul stock fit on my 20 gauge?

There are a few synthetic options if you search amazon for remington 870 20 gauge stock I'm in the market for one myself.

Remington offers synthetic stocks for the 870. Both Cabelas and Midway USA used to carry them, not sure if they still do. You might also try Brownells. I swapped out the wood stock on an 870 12 guage some years back with a Remington Mossy Oak synthetic.

Oddly enough, I am looking to go the other way on an 870 Express, switching black plastic for wood.
