Have I said that's a nice looking rifle.

The new SIG is a short piston Gas operated rifle.
It will use any magazine which fits in an AR15 type rifle.
There will be different stocks and forends available both from SIG and
other manufacturers.
I believe SIG is very serious about getting some market share
for this type of rifle , and when they get production geared up
they should be widely available.
If you are seriously considering getting a high end 5.56 semiauto
rifle , you should study the pros and cons of different makes ,
and then give the SIG careful consideration.
