Yea there are some wankers over there at AR15.com but overall its about the best one. There is a small core group over at Glocktalk too. And a few ARers hang out with the AKers at AKforum and AKfiles.

There is also the old AR15 eList which is an excellent resource. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AR15-L/ Many of the folks there don't like what they see on ARfcom (www.ar15.com) and thus never went over to the forums (or left them).
I'm in both places since 1998 (forums were created later, 2000 I think).
