What metal finish did you use if any?

It was my first build, I'm far from an expert...actually it's my first AK of any type (though I do have more kits in the works)...

Glad to see you went with that receiver. I never did like the "non dimpled" receivers used on the WASR's.

Nice gun. Makes me wanna try one. I am currently bubbaing a mauser i bought just waiting to put the 4th coat of oil on the stock right now. WOuldnt mind a nice ak to go with her heheheh.

The finish looks awesome. I'm not a big fan of the wooden foregrip forearm, but your set-up looks classy. Well-done.
