Finally took out my new 6920 today.

I just wanted to post that I finally was able to go out and shoot my new Colt 6920 today. I put a total of 240 rounds through it. 150 of it was M855 from various sorts including Federal, IMI, some Danish stuff and PMC X-tac, 60 rounds of Federal XM193 55gr and for my last mag, 30 rounds of Hornady TAP FPD 75gr .223 REM.

I had 100% reliability straight out of the box, perfect function. The only down side was that it was 90 degrees out with the sun beating down, combine that with black, which meant that the rifle didn't really cool down at all. Don't think it mattered anyways.

Anyways that's all just wanted to post that I had a blast shooting my new AR and had no issues at all.

Wait! I thought ARs sucked and jammed on every shot. You mean yours worked???

Oh yeah, mine run too. Nice job picking up the most popular rifle in America.

I have the Magpul edition of the 6920. I find it very reliable and accurate! Happy I have it.

It snowed here the past 2 days. Come on over for some cold weather training. I'll buy the ammo.

I also have a fairly new Colt 6920 with the Magpull accessaries. I have ran about 300 rounds through it but I did have a few problems which I traced to the dummy who reloaded a bunch of them (that would be me), other than that flawless. I put a Geissele Super Semi-Automatic (SSA®) trigger on it and with factory ammo it has been great.

Congratulations on the 6920. I have had mine for a couple of years and am very satisfied with it. Only trouble is I keep ordering stuff to put on it/ in it!

My Colt 6920 is a tack driver and has never failed me. Congrats on getting a premier weapon.

I also have the Magpul version 6920. Just a couple hundred rounds through it so far, but it has been perfect. I put a Vortex Strikefire II on it and am very pleased with it, also. Good purchase, congrats!

Congrats on the new rifle and good day at the range.

I suspect you will have many more good range days.

Going to be taking it out again in a couple weeks on a camping trip. I'm probably going to buy 500 rounds of Federal AE .223 55gr to blast through it. Those things are just addicting.

Be sure & save a mag or two for the trip home, because....Ya never know.
