    Question Mossberg Rifles

The local gun shop has Mossberg 100 ATR rifles in .243 and .308 for $280 right now, with a 3-9 scope. Now, I know that is less than a good scope alone can cost, so what does anyone know about these rifles.

I like my 500 Persuader, but haven't really heard anything about Mossberg's rifles. Are they decent, something that should be skipped over?

I can't speak directly to the quality of their center fire rifles, but years ago I shot some of their .22 target rifles. The ones I used were not the prettiest to look at but they sure made pretty pictures down range!

I have no experience with mossberg centerfire rifles . With that being said , and at that price i would take the chance on a couple . Heck if it will shoot into 4moa ( about the standard for a .mil rifle ) and last 500+ rounds you make money on it . It will handle shtf , hunting , ect .. If you get into bench shooting for small groups you would need to upgrade anyway .
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .

I haven't shot one but I read a good review either Guns & Ammo or American Rifleman.

Redneck is right for that price get the .308

The local dealer here is a Mossberg stocking dealer. I have known him for years. He says he has sold several and everyone is happy with them thus far. None have came back with any complaints yet and he's been selling them for about 8 or 9 months now.
