    Son at the range today (pics)

    "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6)

    My 9 yr old son at the range this afternoon, firing at paper at 100 meters.....
    Not so bad for open sights, although I did get on him a coupla times for trigger finger discipline while disengaging the safety (See pic 1)...

    Not bad...
    By the looks of that target, he may be out shooting dad soon...

    I'm just waiting for those times, I want him to grow up to a point and then stop, is that unfare. Naaah, I'll wait, I don't want to miss anything.

    My Dad got me my first rifle and taught me how to shoot when I was 9. Now that I'm 58 I still got my Dad, that first rifle, and, I still shoot it on occasion. Since 9 I've been able to aquire a few more guns here and there.
