My 9 yr old son at the range this afternoon, firing at paper at 100 meters.....
Not so bad for open sights, although I did get on him a coupla times for trigger finger discipline while disengaging the safety (See pic 1)...

My Dad got me my first rifle and taught me how to shoot when I was 9. Now that I'm 58 I still got my Dad, that first rifle, and, I still shoot it on occasion. Since 9 I've been able to aquire a few more guns here and there.
