Roughly $3,000.00... That's including the actual parts and the tools I needed to put everything together.

    Thanks!

I've got the whole build process documented if anyone is interested in viewing the information and is also interested in building their own. Link below...with tons of pics of the process.

Nice work. I agree with you that building is so much better than buying...if for no other reason but your familiarity with the weapon. It's very reassuring to know that you're 100% capable in the assembly, up-keep & possible repair of your own rifle. Looks like you spent the coin to get the GOOD stuff. Well Done!

    Go for it!

I learned so much by building a custom AR... The experience alone is priceless.

I still haven't had a chance to even shoot it yet....

    Hopefully this weekend...!

    Thumbs up Range Update

Finally made it to the range. It was raining most of the morning, but that didn't stop us!

My AR shoots like a dream, no issues what so ever... smooth as butter! I sighted it in and it preformed flawlessly. I was shooting at 100 yards and was achieving 1" groups with ease...

    Here are a few pics...

I also added an Aimpoint ML3(2 MOA) and Aimpoint 3X to the build, along with 2 LaRue mounts...

    I'm a happy camper...!

Impressive work. Now put those tools you bought to work and make some for us.
